About Vince:

Your Guide to Evolved Recovery

Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Vince, and I am deeply committed to guiding others on their journey to recovery and personal transformation. With over 17 years of personal recovery experience, I have dedicated my life to understanding and overcoming the challenges of addiction. My journey began when I chose recovery and realized that the path to healing required more than just attending meetings; it demanded profound inner work and self-discovery.

My Background

Growing up in a religiously oppressive environment, I left the cult I was raised in at 19, cutting ties with friends and family. I was alienated and isolated. The next few decades saw me struggling with addiction while trying to find my place in the world. It wasn't until I sought therapy, and counseling, and engaged in deep experiential exercises and group therapy, ceremony, and Qi Gong that I found true freedom. This journey of self-healing and transformation has equipped me with unique insights and tools that I now share with others.

Professional Expertise

As a psychotherapist, group facilitator, author, Qigong teacher, and therapeutic coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice. My specialization in emotional fluency allows me to offer a unique perspective on recovery and well-being. Through my work, I have helped countless individuals achieve lasting recovery, build healthier relationships, and lead lives filled with joy and fulfillment.

Why I Teach This Course

"Mastering Excellence in Recovery" is the culmination of my life's work and my passion for helping others. This course is designed to address the gaps in traditional recovery models, offering a holistic approach that integrates emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I created this course to provide a comprehensive framework that not only supports sobriety but also fosters personal growth and transformation.

My Approach

I believe in the interconnectedness of all beings and see us as one great human organism. We’re all connected. My approach to recovery incorporates elements of Transpersonal Psychology, First Nations spirituality, Qigong, and plant medicine ceremonies, creating a unique and powerful healing experience. Through this course, I aim to guide you towards a life that is happy, joyous, and free, delivering a peace beyond all comprehension, helping you save time on your healing journey and achieve true emotional fluency so you can respond rather than react and enjoy healthy thriving relationships.

"Participating in Vince's weekly 3-hour, 6-month deep dive ceremonial version of the steps was a transformative experience. Vince had an incredible way of getting everyone to open up about their deepest fears and traumas early in the group. His ability to lead by example was exceptional. He taught us about ancestral trauma and how it is not our responsibility to carry it; our only responsibility is to heal from it. Once this registered with us, it was incredibly relieving—like the weight of the world had been lifted off our shoulders.

There was no shame in Vince's group. We had 13 men who completed his recovery program, and I believe it was the deep level of spiritual connection we all had that made it so effective. Everyone in that group stayed clean. Vince is not only a phenomenal psychotherapist, but his skills in meditation are unparalleled. He shared stories of one of his teachers who also achieved a 100% recovery rate with his participants, a feat almost unheard of in the realms of addiction and alcoholism. Vince is bound and determined to find ways to help there people he works achieve the same as his teacher did.

I highly recommend Vince, especially now as he is an author. I haven't read his latest book, Mastering Excellence in Recovery: For People with 5 or More Years Sober, but I am eagerly anticipating getting my hands on it. I'm still clean and sober today, and just being around Vince's gregarious laugh would make it worth it."
